Mahogany Louvered Cupolas

These Mahogany Cupolas are built in Bar Harbor and Trenton Maine by a small family team using the finest materials available. Your satisfaction is guaranteed on your Mahogany Louvered Cupolas and Handcrafted Acadia Weathervanes or your money back.

Philippine Mahogany makes an excellent medium for crafting our mahogany cupolas. Mahogany is known for it's excellent workability, and is very desirable as it is extremely durable and slow to rot. The lumber is inherently an attractive reddish brown color which darkens to a luxurious hue over time. The wood finishes to a beautiful sheen when polished or lacquered.

These louvered cupolas are exceptional in their design. The louvered mahogany cupolas are constructed with horizontal louvers, expertly angled to exhaust hot air from your attic while keeping out rain or snow. Each louver is set into a pocket in each corner post, which is made of a solid piece of mahogany. This design ensures the durability of the louvered cupola, as well as contributing to overall savings on your cooling bills.

PLEASE NOTE:

To choose the proper size window cupola for a one story building you should have at least one inch or more of mahogany louvered cupola base width for each foot of unbroken horizontal roof line. If your building is higher than one story we recommend choosing a larger cupola.
